This 3 kW heater from Balboa, often referred to as a “slave heater,” is specifically designed to meet the needs of larger spa pools that require superior heating capacity compared to what a standard Balboa control system can provide. When integrated with the parent control system, where wiring is necessary, it combines its power with the main system to deliver an impressive total heat output of 6 kW.

Fully compatible with various Balboa control systems, including the GS, GL and BP series, this heater is provided with a 120 cm cable to smoothly connect to the main control system. If you are using a Balboa master control system, it is usually a simple process to connect by placing the plugs on connectors J100 and J101.

For other types of control systems, it is also possible to adapt this heater, provided that proper and safe electrical connections are established. For such connections, it is always recommended to consult a professional electrician.
